For scorekeepers
How to keep the book
Whole matches kept on ScoreRegistry, made from the real app: a volleyball league match, a tournament match and a basketball game. The teams and the tournament in them are made up.

Keeping the book on a phone?
It works the same way on your phone: the same screens, the same buttons, in the same order. The videos are filmed on an iPad so every button is easy to see.
On a phone, turn it sideways to score: both teams and every button fit on one screen.
Regular season
A league match
Five short parts, in the order they happen at the table, or the whole match in one go. A finger shows every tap, with a voice and captions, so it works with the sound off too.

2:11Setting up the match
- New Match: the two teams, your name, whose book you keep
- The division, court and match number
- Scan each coach's sheet: the square gives the roster, the libero and the captain
- No square? One photo reads the numbers and the serve order. Names are never recorded

2:01Scoring, subs and the referee
- Ref's phone: the referee scans ONE square for the whole match
- POINT after every rally, and a timeout
- A sub stays in that spot: the app fills in who may come back

3:06The libero
- Tap L#9, then the player she goes in for: her row reads 3 → L#9
- Front row: her row flashes - look, then double tap it to bring the player back
- The reminder: a faint L#9? on her usual player and the pulsing button; double tap it if she stays off
- One serving spot per set, the Libero sheet, and why a libero spotter helps

- Undo last tap
- 911-FIX: when the scoreboard is ahead of the book
